Getting Started with CourseFLow: A Web-based Tool to Visualize and Manage Your Program & Curricula Designs
CourseFlow is an application that allows for an interactive and dynamic instructional design. The application can be used collaboratively to design and document programs, courses, and activities. It aims at managing competencies, learning outcomes, course frameworks and the links between the three. The numerous views allow users to efficiently test out various course grids, and to keep track of distribution of competencies across courses. Password protection on cloud-based infrastructure facilitates inter-institutional collaboration within a secure system.
The workshop will present the main features of CourseFlow using the Science program revision as an example. By the end of the workshop, all participants will be ready to use CourseFlow on their own, either starting from an existing template or from a clean slate.
